Professor Jean-Louis Laville, (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM, Paris) and Laboratoire interdisciplinaire pour la sociologie économique) coordinates the large network of European scholars and practitioners interested in the work of Karl Polanyi and in the activities of the Institute. Building and consolidating a European network will provide an important example of how we may work towards the development of other regional organizations.
